Releases
The Deafstar is about to drop a number of releases on planet earth over the next month. Since we all use analogue gear on our small colony, vinyl is our choice. It supplies a brilliant warm sound and has a nice physical presence as a piece of plastic. We are very much dedicated towards designing every aspect of the record, starting on the cover and inner sleeve, continuing with the label and the etched designs on the record itself. We have our own engineer on board who is a magician in all sorts of surface refinements. So watch out, or first release will sport an international premiere: an etching on the playable side. You heard right, nobody was so bold to do that ever before in record history!
Our releases are so elaborate, that every record company on earth would refuse to produce such an expensive editions. But we´re not driven by your economy, we live in our own orbit with our own very different rules. So we simply want to produce the best records with the smartest artwork. And we just wanted to make you a little present. However, shops and distribution on earth refused to spread our releases for free, so we must apologize, that you have to pay for the records. You should not hesitate to buy your own personal record because stocks are very limited – we only produce 500 pieces for the world. And every release will quickly become a collector´s item …
